That's interesting - I've never really known how licence abuse is
monitored/controlled/policed. The idea that what I'm doing is constantly under
surveillance (even if it's just by some server somewhere) is rather chilling
though. However, as I have a deep seated fear of being 'told off' (thanks Mum)
I
never do anything wrong!

Oh, and if your license is "compromised" as you say in the opening thread, then
you won't be able to download any updates for the software, so its safe to
assume that if you keep your serial number private to you, and your software is
still updating ok then everything is fine with your license. Its adobe who are
the really anal company about their licences, apple seem to have more of an
angle of preventing colleges/workplaces from buying one copy and installing it
across all their machines.

On the licencing issue for anyone interested, the case with Final Cut Express,
and I assume Logic express also, is that you can install it with the same code
on both computers, but if they see each other running on the network at the
same
time the second one wont start.
