Skype (audio) uses a surprisingly small amount of data, I don't have any figures to quote though. Unless youre going down to a very low cap like 100Mb per month or so I'd imagine you'd *probably* be alright.
Use it as much as you can before your cap comes into effect and watch your data counters usage to gauge it.
