Hi. I've just been sent an email from BT saying that for BT broadband users there is an iPhone app that gives free access at loads of BT wifi hotspots. I signed up and installed the app - haven't used it yet so I can't tell if it is effective.
However, I have since read that someone else has opted out again as they understand that signing up for it means giving consent for other people to be able to access wifi through my home hub, i.e. I'be become part of the network of wifi hotspots. Is this true and if so, are there security risks with people being able to access my home computer? Thanks, Andrew PS if there are security issues - hoe do opt out again??!! -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Sussex Mac User Group" group.
