It works! I tried it in the middle of Guildford and loads of potential hotspots came up. I clicked on BT Fon , which launched Safari and their BT Fon page, where I had to log in and presto!! linked via Fon.
Can I also use my laptop? I hadn't quite realised how limiting the little screen on the iPhone actually is!!!
