Hi Ray If the mac store route doesn't work out for your friend, I'm a knowledgable mac user and have helped family friends with the basics in the past. So while I'm not an official trainer I'm not working full time at the moment and am able to do a bit of 1 to 1 work if that's the kind of thing he would be interested in. I'm very patient too.
