You can never be entirely sure an Email's reached the recipient, no matter what client you send from, here's a non-exhaustive list of possible reasons for non delivery in order of severity:
1. The email is flagged as spam 2. The email contains a virus 3. Your outgoing email server is currently under heavy volume or has crashed 4. The recipient's email server is currently under heavy volume or has crashed 5. Nuclear war 6.
