You can never be entirely sure an Email's reached the recipient, no matter what
client you send from, here's a non-exhaustive list of possible reasons for non
delivery in order of severity:

1. The email is flagged as spam
2. The email contains a virus
3. Your outgoing email server is currently under heavy volume or has crashed
4. The recipient's email server is currently under heavy volume or has crashed
5. Nuclear war
6. The release of the last Twilight Saga film has sent teenage girls into a
frenzy of emailing three letter acronyms to eachother in order to accurately
describe their love for the fictional fop Edward Cullen and the collective
weight of their faux-romance techno-slurry has brought down the Internet
entirely
