Is there an Entourage Temp Folder in ~/Documents/Microsoft User Data/ ? If not, create it. If there is, or after you've created it :
Open Terminal > Type "sudo chmod -R 777" and then drag the Entourage Temp Folder into the terminal window > push return > type your password in. That will ensure the temp folder's writeable to everyone. You could also create a new user on the system, use that to create a new identity in Entourage and then copy that Microsoft User Data folder to an external drive, then back into the original user's Documents folder.
