Hi, Further to my previous post about Sky Player, I find in Applications that Silverlight is represented by an alias as compared with BBC iPlayer that is 'all there' so to speak. As I said earlier, I'm told that Silverlight has been 'installed successfully' but something seems to be awry as it won't run and SkyPlayer insists Silverlight isn't installed.
Just wondered if this sheds any light on the problem I have... Thanks, Richard ________________________________ From: Richard Coker <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Tue, 8 February, 2011 17:29:33 Subject: [sussex_mug] Sky Player won't work!!!!!!! Hi, Trying to get Sky Player to work on my Wife's MacBook Pro (10.5x) but there seems to be a problem with getting Silverlight 4.0 to run. I've been round and round in circles several times - Silverlight appears to instal successfully but Sky Player keeps telling me to install it! I've phoned Sky a couple of times but this only leads to another cycle of woe. Can anyone tell me if this is a problem with the MacBook or with Sky or Silverlight? (Got it to work on my MacBook 10.6.6!) Many thanks, Richard ________________________________ -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Sussex Mac User Group" group.
