Interesting - I thought it was just me. When I upgraded to the latest version of Aperture my MacBook Pro grinds down to a snails pace. Drives me crazy as I use Aperture a lot and have to quit everything else on the machine and often end up having to restart after quitting Aperture to get the sped back.
