You guessed right.
Hold down the "C" button as you start up or restart.
If you want to see the Shortcuts, just choose help in the main menu of
the finder and search for "Shortcuts"
And choose the option "Shortcuts on Startup" to find this and other
options available.

Hello everyone again. I have just found my missing Macbook installation disk,
so have decided to use this to follow the advice in Disk Utility (going to try
this first, then try DiskWarrior).
Anyway, a really really stupid question, so apologies...
Disk Utilities says "Start up your computer with another disk (such as your Mac OS X
installation disc)"
How do I do this? Do I press a particular key as I start up the computer?
Best wishes
