Hi Sam, Thank you for your prompt reply. Don't you ever sleep????
The single license is a concern but was hoping that the app would only be available to open by one student at a time; thereby not having the problem of it being open on more than one machine. The only other option would be to install it one one client but that creates its own problems… Thanks again, Regards John John Hodges Art Department St Bede's School, Upper Dicker, Hailsham, East Sussex, BN27 3QH 01323 843252 Ext 2427 ________________________________________ From: [email protected] [[email protected]] On Behalf Of Sam - MacAmbulance [[email protected]] Sent: 16 March 2011 09:38 To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [sussex_mug] Sharing application on 10.6 server Hi John You can nominate a folder as an automount for network Library and network Applications folder so applications installed there will be available to OD users but I'm not sure how the single license will fare, most programs broadcast over a network to check if other versions are using the same license.
