Well, my iPad has now been restored about 4 times in the last few days and the only time I had the gestures was the very first time I upgraded from 4.2.1 to 4.3. Since the subsequent installs, they have vanished!
Hopefully they will return at some point. My whole iPad seems incredibly erratic at the moment what with SIMs recognised then not (sometimes going from one to the other within about 5 seconds), the text changing in my Settings and then gesture options appearing and disappearing. Very strange.
