Agreed - the area is too big to be able to arrange a meeting where all would feel able to come. But... is there a larger group of us in one part over another? Would that group be keen to get something going? I recall as a child (raised in Sussex) there used to be meetings?
Straw poll: If you'd be interested in attending a meeting, please reply: 1. With a yes! 2. Your home town. 3. How far you'd commute. 4. Whether you'd commit to it, or just dip in now and again. 5. Monthly or bi-monthly. Tentatively, I'd be happy to facilitate something. I'll be moving to Lindfield/Haywards Heath.... so a possible 'central' location depending on location for the rest of you! I've been to the Oxford one and it's a nice time with a monthly speaker on an interesting topic, a chance to share ideas/problem solve, show tips and tricks... just socially enjoyable, and a fun AGM punting on the Isis! I'll check this thread again in a few days and compile the results.... if there are no takers, no bother, but even 8-10 is a good number to start with is folks are interested and see a benefit.
