I guess it depends how big your business is (compared to ours, perhaps). We use Billings 3 for all the invoicing. Everything else is done on spreadsheets. My wife is a bookkeeper and this is the way she generally prefers to do things too. She uses Sage 50 for some customers, on their computers (remotely, using things like LogMeIn and TeamViewer). She feels Sage 50 is unnecessary and an overkill for most small businesses. Bear in mind that Sage 50 doesn't run on OSX. We asked them about running it in Windows under Parallels, and they told us there's no guarantees it works and wouldn't even get in a discussion about it. They only tell you to run it on Mac hardware using Boot Camp.

Accounting software

Hi

We have a design studio and use MYOB Accounting software for mac. This works
well for us but we need to change to another as this is stopping and they want
us to have online continuing annual payment accounting system.

We only use for invoices, end of year, no stock control etc.

Sage 50 is too expensive.

Any suggestions what to buy?
