Hi all,

Some odd things are going on since I've moved to my new iMac. I erased my old
Time Machine backups with Disk Utility and have been backing up fine since
yesterday (beginning with a full backup) but what I've noticed are:

*) I have 'Wiretapped' and a 'Web Sites' folders in my Finder sidebar. I cannot
select them and I cannot remove them by dragging as they spring back into
place. If I navigate via the Finder both folders are where I'd expect and their
contents look just fine. I can add them to my sidebar and then I have 'four'
folders there! Any ideas how I can remove the 'ghost' folders?

*) The folders mentioned above appear greyed out when I go into Time Machine
from the Finder.

*) I have a folder "iOS SDK" in my Finder sidebar. I launch Time Machine. If I
click this folder in the sidebar, then all the previously OK looking Finder
windows back through time turn black! This is the folder from which I want an
old file!! Grrr. What is worrying is that the 'iOS SDK' folder is there on
today's backup NOW but if I go back to today's backup of 15:08 the folder is
gone!! It's been there on my old iMac for months... the permissions of the
folder are R&W for me and R&W for everyone. So, Time Machine has not backed up
any of the source code for my apps which is very worrying indeed.

Does anyone have any idea what is causing this and how I can fix it?

Thanks in advance.

Stephen
