Thanks (and Sam too). A comparison to any MBP is useful and confirms my
thoughts the new 'Air' will be fast enough.

Does anyone know of a good place I can find a list of relative speeds of Mac
laptops, that would also cover older models? The figures quoted on the Apple
website are just relative to the previous Air.
I'm looking at buying one of the new Macbook Airs announced yesterday. Its
replacing a MacBook Pro that's a few years old. Time (and processors and
memory) move on and therefore there's a good chance that the Air is probably
faster than my older MBP even though its mainly built for portability and not
speed. But I'd like to be sure I don't end up buying something slower just for
the sake of portability. Therefore some table of benchmark speeds would be
useful, if I can find one.
Thanks, Graham
