My MacBook Air is attached to my Apple Cinema Display and I have installed Lion to it when it came out 2 days ago. It was only today when I used my laptop on the train with it's trackpad that I realised how useful and intuitive the new trackpad gestures and even the natural scrolling is.
OS X Lion is made for trackpads really. It still has flaws, but I am sure they will be fixed.
