in the past, a restart has often fixed strange behaviour. This was
presumably because memory had got a bit jumbled up, or caches, or
similar. But now Lion is restarting with everything back in place. Does
anyone know the technicalities of whether stuff is still being flushed
out and reloaded? Does that question even make sense?
