Hi all,

Last night I was browsing the web on my iPad, after just updating two apps and
when I went to the 2nd page I was trying to read it said that there was no
network. Indeed the WiFi bands were not to be seen on the top status bar. This
had happened before so I switched off the WiFi on my iPad, then on and waited.
It found my Network, added the tick mark, showed the network name in the left
hand side, and then unchecked itself and showed "Not connected" instead.

To cut a long story short, I can no longer get my iPad to join my network. When
my network appears in the list it usually puts the checkmark next to it, once
or twice it's even put the signal strength bars in the status ar, but then they
vanish and the check mark disappears. Basically, no more WiFi on my iPad!

My 2nd generation iPod touch fares much better and in fact I've managed to send
an email from it, but it drops the signal occasionally too, but otherwise seems
normal.

When asked in 1997 what he would do to fix Apple's problems, Michael Dell
famously told a crowd of IT executives, "What would I do? I'd shut it down and
give the money back to the shareholders."

By the way Michael, how ARE Dell doing these days? ...
