I am having problems with the standard Mac zip utility (right-click on a file and choose Compress...). It seems to add extra bits to the package which stop the files working when I try to upload it (a Joomla plugin in my case): if I download a zip file, uncompress it and then recompress it, it will not work whereas the original zip will.
Can anyone recommend a different zip utility or way to change the default one (Archive Utility.app which I can't seem to find)?
