Thanks guys. That's great - no reason not to get a MBP then. I just thought there may be something about the MBP that didn't fit with Lion which is why Apple wasn't installing it on new ones for sale. I know that sounds idiotic but then why wouldn't they put the newest OS on all their range? Would there be a reason customers would want the older system?
