Hi all, I have dragged a four instrument MIDI file into Garageband as I've done many times before when I used GB '08 (I think) and as before, it's split it into the four parts (SATB) that I would expect. The problem is, I can't adjust the volume of each track.
Each track appears in green as a software instrument. If I add a new software instrument track of the same type I can adjust the volume for the new track with no problem, but not with the ones created from the MIDI file. This has always worked in the past but it seems that in GB '11 it has 'locked' the imported tracks. Does anyone know a way around this? GB help just tells me how to adjust the volume but gives no indication as to why it might prevent me from doing it… Thanks.
