If your old Ipod is not showing up in that window i would hazard a
guess and say its been removed from the ITUNES software for some
reason, I personally do not know of any other way of getting the
serial number, did you register it with apple? other than that Im at
a loss and cant help you any further sorry

iPod. I am sure it is iTunes
somewhere 'cos I transferred music to it from iTunes back in 2007.
Is there any other way to get at it?
