I did the obvious thing and looked at the tech specs for a new Mac; Included Software OS X Lion Includes Mail, Address Book, iCal, the Mac App Store, iTunes, Safari, Time Machine, FaceTime, Photo Booth, Mission Control, Launchpad, AirDrop, Resume, Auto Save, Versions, Quick Look, Spotlight, QuickTime iLife Includes iPhoto, iMovie and GarageBand. Text Edit Preview Calculator Dashboard Dictionary DVD Player iChat Image Capture are all included but not Front Row. Chess doesn't come with Lion but is an Intel app so works. iLife doesn't come with Lion except on new Macs.
