Mail's at it again: downloading 1043 messages. Even I don't often get that many in 2 hours (since I last logged on). I did once get 500 in a matter of minutes, due to a server error at a law firm, that just kept spewing out the same message, but never quite this many at one sitting.
I did change where I was connected, from a university to a hotel system. Who knows! (Rebuilding the mail boxes didn't help, with the false numbers of messages, either.)
