Hello people,

My first post on here... =)

i have a external hard drive with two partitions. One is used for super duper
(300GB), and
the other is NTFS (1.2TB).

Both mount fine when attached to a windows box (running macDrive) but Im having
problems
when I physically attach the drive to a mac. The mac has both macfuse (v2.1.5)
and
Paragon NTFS (v9) installed but neither seem to work (tried with either/both of
them
disabled/enabled).

N.B. Macfuse is working when used for mounting other filesystems, and paragon
has worked
previously although dont have another NTFS drive to test with at the moment.

When connected to the Mac (10.5.8) both drives appear in the left hand column
of finder,
but as soon as I click on either of them, or start Disk Utility, the Mac hangs.
 It
appears to cause some sort of I/O lock. Some things still work in OSX but new
apps wont
open, and Activity Monitor hangs.

As soon as I physically disconnect the external drive the Mac springs back into
life, and
all the previously buffered key presses are carried out as though nothing had
happened,
and it was all a dream...

Im hoping this is an obvious one, something like you know OSX cant mount
filesystems over
1TB, or you need to format with a specific block size. If somebody could let
me know that
key piece of info Id be most grateful!

Thanks,
Jon.
