I reported mail redownloading more than 1000 messages. When I got back to my hotel from work yesterday (I'm currently 7 hours ahead of the UK), it started doing the same again. I cancelled the download. But when it automatically gets mail without me commanding it to do so, it only gets new mails.
The mails being redownloaded seem to go back 1 week. This problem seems to happen when I return to the hotel email system, but not when I return to the work system. Both are connected by cable, but there is a proxy I have to turn on for work which I turn off at the hotel. I am not sure that the system is downloading all messages: I'll find out when I get in to work again. These are very strange behaviours! Has anyone any ideas?
