Alas, I was a 3G user that was stung when iOS4 came out, and it just didn't have the horsepower.
If any iPhone 4 users update to iOS5 and can report that it's nice and smooth, please do let us all know! Not sure I could bear to see this handset (only a few months old) end up at a snails pace!
