Hi Adrian More RAM's not going to help your laptop I'm afraid. Even with 1GB RAM it'll be marginally faster than 256MB but still extremely slow when compared to an intel-based Mac. YouTube & iPlayer definitely won't work even on a maxed-out PowerPC-based Mac. Most modern software won't even run on your laptop, even with more RAM.
