I hope this isn't *too* OT... My son could do with some work experience during the summer school holidays. He has pretty good Mac and tech skills, is very personable and is quite mature for his age (just finishing Year 10). He has worked in an office before for a week (sorting out accounts paperwork and doing various odd jobs at a magazine publisher) and his employer was very happy with his work. I imagine he could be useful for internet research, answering the phone, typing, data entry, putting together presentations, odd jobs, making the tea, etc. Obviously he'd like to be paid, but it wouldn't need to be very much and if it's for a non-profit or worthy cause then I'd be happy to chip in on the salary. Anything from a day or two up to a couple of weeks would be good. We live in Brighton.
Please contact me directly if you think you could put him to work on something useful, or know someone else who might be able to.
