In changing over from first generation iPad to a new one, i restored everything to the new one but in the process i have lost data from one of the apps (iBookshelf). I had loaded about 200 books onto it but now there is only 20. I am wondering if all the original stuff will have been backed up to iCloud and if so how do I access it? Reading about this online it suggests you have to scrub everything on the iPad and do a complete restore. Is this correct? Has anybody had experience of this? The latest iCloud backup was 9 July. Will this have overwritten the original data?
