Hello, I decided to try out Messages now that my partner has a MacBook running Mountain Lion.
If I try to send him a message from my iPad 'Classic' running iOS 5.1.1 it displays the "Sending" progress bar, quickly rising to about 90% then sits there for about 3 minutes and then tells me that "Delivery failed". I can send him messages from my iMac, also running ML, with no problem. As a person without a mobile Phone, the ability to send the odd message in this way from my 3G iPad could be quite handy. Has anyone used this successfully or know how I might fix it? Thanks in advance as ever.
