Thanks for getting back Sam. I tried saving a page as an eps which it wouldn't do either. Did what you suggest and tried it on a much smaller doc which was OK. So decided it was down to the size of my document. I reduced sizes of pic files and it's done it now. Thanks anyway. I've been sent some customer files in Quark so I've come back to it after a while and I'm a bit rusty. It triggered off a thought about using low res images in the doc which linked to the high res for printing but I suppose quality of preview is lost. Appreciate your help. Graham
