Somewhat puzzled by the set-up for the new printer we have just bought - a
Kodak ESP 1.2. In the peculiar instructions it asks whether your router
supports Wi-fi Protected Setup (WPS). We use a Netgear DG834G, but I have no
idea what this refers to. It also refers to the Network Name (SSID) and
Security String (case-sensitive).

The problem lies with the fact we set up this router years and years ago, and
have never needed to remember any of the original information. That's probably
a declining years issue as well.

Can anyone suggest what to do? I hate instructions that come in pictorial
format as it reminds me of trying to make Airfix models, which I was never any
good at. What's happened to using words?
