Dear all I use the above as my main machine, so always run off the mains. Every month, I let it run fully flat as I hear that's a good way to keep the battery in good shape. I did that today, and I have to say that it barely lasted the day, and today was a day of little use.
I'm on a Cycle Count of 89 and Condition Normal, but what should I expect from this machine? It was used today for about 3 hours of emailing and web use (no video) and then software updates, screen saver and sleep mode for the rest, and I've just lost all power and had to reconnect AC. That just doesn't sound like the 7hrs or so I expect? Advice appreciated. On my old MB with SL, I used to do the similar healthcare technique and it would often take a good 36hrs to run flat (ie 5hrs of essay writing and emailing and the rest asleep). Any thoughts? Could it be faulty? I have AppleCare.. but didn't know if there was any way of really understanding how the battery is doing? Thanks all.
