Yup it's been well looked after, if you get a new battery from eBay beforehand 
I can fit it for you here, takes 2 mins. It's a 4 not a 4S.

You can only share apps easily if you both sign into the same store account on 
the iPhone.

If you bring her old iPhone I can sync it to to the new one with any luck.
