Hi all,

Can anyone explain this odd event the other day?

About 3 or 4 days ago, I setup Find my iPhone on my new iPod touch. I'd had it
set on my Mac, previous iPod touch and my iPad since it was available.

Having set it up, and with my iPod in my hand and my iPad on my lap, I then
tried to find my devices. It found "This Device" - my new iPod - very quickly
but after a minute or more decided that my iPad was Offline! Err, no ...

Anyway, I left it alone and thought no more of it. Then, yesterday morning I
was on my iPad using the Internet in my local library when I was interrupted
with an alert sound along with a short alert reading (something like) "Find My
iPad" and an OK button.

Why then? What did it mean? Any ideas?

It hasn't happened since and both devices have been on WiFi again. At the
moment, the app on my iPod again insists that my iPad is Offline even as I'm
typing this connected to the same network!

Yours in some confusion,

Stephen
