So (<narrative mode>) I'm watching a film in full screen, how cool is this modern tech. Except fr the App update popping up every five minutes or so to tell me some app needs updating (note 1). I can't see a way to turn off app store notifications anywhere (not in Notifications, not in App store, nor via google.)
To say that a stupid banner distracts from a film is pretty obvious. Does anyone know how to turn them off? (note 1) Is it just me or is updating stuff a) happening far too often in many apps b) a candidate for completely automated action? Some apps seem to need updating every time I launch them, it gets infuriating. Can you turn on auto update in iTunes for iPad, for instance? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Sussex Mac User Group" group.
