Safari seems to be a bit less keyboard-y by default, I've noticed compared to firefox that if I want to tab between fields in some web page login forms, firefox will go from frame to frame of text and safari will jump straight between the form fields. Smart from a quickly logging in perspective... but not so smart for example if you are blind, and you need a screen reader to read out whats going on.

Built in to the OS some of the accessibility options might allow you to wizz around within webpages using keyboard without the need for any add-ons at all, so unless someone else knows a more specific way, thats the avenue I'd look at. Or mash the tab key to move the carat from result link to link. Results will vary depending on the page and how dynamic/ad-filled it is. then space to "click" On 8 August 2013 10:17, mac98aop <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi all > > With Alfred etc, I'm getting pretty nifty at controlling my Mac without > the need for the mouse much. > > Can anyone recommend any Safari extensions or tips I'm missing on how I > might navigate to a Google search result without having to grab the mouse > and click the suggestion please? > > That'd be great!
