The Apple USB cable for the iPad mini is ridiculously expensive, but all the cheap cables from China seem to be terribly unreliable (work at first but then go intermittent and eventually stop working altogether). Is there any other alternative - something a bit more expensive (and more reliable!) than the Chinese cables, perhaps, but not as over-priced as the Apple cable ?
