I should have added that we haven't moved anything to iOS7 so haven't been able to verify the holes for ourselves. I just read the article this morning and thought it would be useful reposted here as we've seen so much activity on the forum around iOS7 in the past two days.

We're holding back on any updates as we're away in Crete (up a mountainside, on a really fast 3G connection via a local SIM chip in the iPad, and tethering). We don't want things to break while we're here, so we don't update anything until we get home. Its been very useful watching the activity of all who have done the upgrade.

I haven't been able to replicate the lock screen vulnerability myself, it just goes back to the lock screen when I double-tap the home button.

To all those who have moved to iOS7 in the past day or so, I suggest you read this about two security vulnerabilities, and take the appropriate actions mentioned ...
