I'm getting embarrassed! I signed into Google (with the new email address), then went onto the SMUG page, thus: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!search/sussex$20mac$20users$20groups
As far as I can see, Google thinks I am a member of SMUG – even with my new email address. I just don't understand why I can't get through to the Group except through the Moderator.
