Have you opened the Printers section of System Preferences, clicked on Options 
and then Utility and selected Test print from the drop down menu? Do a nozzle 
check which should tell you if the printer is doing something.

If this is the case I’d delete the printer from the  printer list in the 
Printer Preferences panel and then re-add it to see if this gets the job done.
