Hi. I have an iPhone five, iOS 7, which I use to tether my iPad. It works just
fine. However, yesterday I attempted to tether my MacBook (white, intel, some
years old!) using bluetooth and couldn't. Can I use USB to tether, or is the
macbook just too old? I'm reluctant to buy a new macbook just to be able to use
my 3 mobile data allowance (I'm tied into my contract for another year) and I
certainly don't want to pay for a dongle for the small amount of time a year
that I'd be using this facility.

Any thoughts welcome!

Andrew
