Hi. I seem to have developed an irritating new feature since upgrading to Mavericks. Almost every time I want to print anything, I find the document I want to print, click Print, and nothing happens. Cilcking on the HP Photosmart thing in the dock brings up a message tellng me that the printer is offline, so I have to switch the printer off and then back on - when it starts up and prints. But it is a bit of a rigmarole.
Any ideas why this would be, and if there is anyway I can stop the printer seeming to go offline? Otherwise I might as well switch it off after each use - though it does get through ink when it starts up again...
