Paul, I'm at 5.5 on Indesign and 5.1 on Illustrator. My understanding was that both are questionable with Mavericks? Yeah, I know the only way to get CS6 is via the Creative Cloud lease - it needs to be much cheaper to tempt me though. CS5.5 and CS5.1 already do everything I need and £46/month is too much for effectively no benefit. Pro Tools 11 is compatible with Mavericks but is an £800 upgrade from the PT9 that I'm on - there'd also be quite a few PT plugin upgrades I'd need to pay for. My total bill for the "free" Mavericks update would be over £1k (plus £552 per year for Adobe CC).
At the moment it seems to me that Mountain Lion is where I stop. Might go back to carving letters in a chunk of stone, or maybe painting dodgy pictures of bison on the wall.
