Hi Gilly
Try viewing the images in Finder as files/folders, then just drag the
main folder they're all in onto the iPhoto icon in the dock.

Using iPhoto 9.5.1, I am trying to import photos from my camera (via a
universal card-reader). I see all the photos, but there seem to be no
"Import" or "Import Selected" button. How do I go from here?
