Hi all, Just asking for some help on retrieving data from a couple of HD's from my girlfriends brother who suddenly passed away recently. One hd is from a 2007 macbook and the other from a macbook pro (not sure of date) these macs have been considerably damaged beyond repair but the GF would like to see if there are any remaining docs and pictures on the hd's. The hd's are removed and look like they are in ok condition, she has bought a caddy with the idea of plugging it in and connecting to her macbook.The macbook asks for initialisation?? and we are not sure where to go now, based on the fact its still very sensitive and i would hate to wipe any remaining info it they still work. Any ideas would be gratefully received.
