I recently transferred our iTunes library to a new iMac. Apple is requesting
authorisation to play purchased tracks from years ago when both my girlfriend
and I had different email accounts which we no longer have access to and are
obsolete. I remembered the password for my ancient Apple ID associated with my
old email address but my girlfriend cannot remember hers. Oddly, the security
information stored by apple in order to make retrieving the password possible
does not tally, eg her birthday. Is there any way of getting around this or is
a phone call to apple tech support going to be necessary?
