The AppleStore will probably just offer a replacement iPad at a discount price.
The headphone port is replaceable but Apple's policy is not to repair, only
replace. You should be able to find someone in your area who can open it up &
replace the headphone port, the part itself is £5-10 on ebay depending on the
model, will usually take around an hour to replace & reassemble.
